Day 2:
Unfortunately, all of yesterday’s snow had melted this morning. The morning weather was mild and rainy. That’s why I first visited the Oslo Cathedral. As with every visit, I lit candles today for deceased family members and friends.
I later drove out to the Bygdøy museum peninsula. There I visited the Norsk Folkemuseum, but the weather was not suitable for taking a lot of photos.
In the afternoon, when I came back from Bygdøy, I was on Slottsplassen in front of the royal castle. There on the statue of King Karl III. Johann, citizens can light candles and lay flowers, in memory of the late Ari Behn. It is impressive how much sympathy is shown there.
Tomorrow I will take the train to Lillehammer early. A visit to the Maihaugen open-air museum is on the program, and of course I also visit my friends at Peppes Pizza.
