Trip to Norway in July 2019

For the first time, the geriatric nursing school I work in does two weeks off in July. That’s why I postponed my next trip from August to July. On July 13, I travel to Oslo and directly to Trondheim. I stay there for two days, then return to Oslo and return home on the 27th of July. Surely I will do a trip to Lillehammer again and maybe it will work with the visit to the Tyrifjord. Unfortunately I had to postpone this trip in May because my hostess was ill.

In Trondheim I will of course visit the famous #Nidaros Cathedral. It is built over the burial site of King Olav II (c. 995-1030, reigned 1015-1028), who became the patron saint of the nation, and is the traditional location for the consecration of new kings of Norway. Here seven kings were crowned and ten buried.
