Trip to Oslo – Day 6

Day 6:

Departure:
Unfortunately my stay in Oslo ended today. In the hotel I met Susanne, the manager of the hotel, this morning. She had two great surprises for me:
The first: she is pregnant and will have a baby in a short time. That is really great and I am very happy for her. Maybe I can see the baby on my next visit in May …
The second surprise is a beautiful book with illustrations by the artist Lisa Aisato. Susanne gave it to me as a late Christmas present and as a thank you for my package (Lübeck marzipan!) that I had sent to Oslo in good time before Christmas.
After checking out at the hotel, I went to the Color Line ferry dock. As usual, I wanted to check in at the machine, but that didn’t work … The check-in machine indicated that I should report to the counter, please!
Another huge surprise awaited me there: Because it was my 25th trip to Norway and the return trip was my 50th trip with a Color Line ship, my cabin was rebooked. Instead of a 3-star interior cabin, I now got one

» 5-Star Color Suite with Oceanview «

That was a great story, but not all: I wanted to book WiFi for the crossing on board. At the reception the lady said to me: “You do not have to pay for it, you are invited!”

Thank you very much, dear friends of Color Line Norge. You made me a huge joy with it !!!
